It has taken a whole week to get back to 23 Things. The timing of this project is not great in terms of our workload. Oh yes, I know, take it 15 minutes at a time. Well, when you know as little as I do to start with, you tend to read the same thing over at every 15 minute break. I was very excited about this project but now I feel discouraged. They say that "the more you know, the more you know you don't know" and I'm definitely there. At first, there were issues being addressed that were familiar to me as I too have struggled with things like authority and access. Then, however, we slipped between the layers and the more I read, the more lost and disenfranchised I felt. Yes, Stephanie was correct, I am an immigrant into this land. The terms mean nothing, even the terms I can look up on the NEFLIN site. In some ways, this will probably mean more to me at the end of the program, when I hold a concept for said terms.
It's time to close the library so I will have to finish this later...or maybe I am finished. We will see next time. Happy Trails.
